The Keanu Reeves TV series Rain finally has a guiding force. According to TheWrap, Chris Collins and Marc Abrams have singed on as showrunners for the thriller.

Collins worked on acclaimed shows like Sons of Anarchy, The Sopranos, The Wire and even Star Wars: The Clone Wars, while Abrams wrote for The Bernie Mac Show, Entourage and created Scar Tissue for FX.

“When we were approached about working on this show, we immediately wanted to take part in the project with Keanu and get a chance to be part of such a unique undertaking,” Collins and Abrams said in a joint statement. “We can't wait to start collaborating with the entire team and introduce this character to an even wider audience.”

Barry Eisler created the character of John Rain in Rain Fall, the first novel in a series that now boasts eight entries. Rain, a former soldier and CIA operative, works as a freelance assassin who specializes in making deaths look natural.

The Slingshot Global Media series was announced with Reeves' involvement in August.
