Picking up from the cliffhanger ending of last year's John Wick: Chapter 2, next May's John Wick: Parabellum will see the titular hitman use whatever means necessary to escape from New York City in one piece.
Director Chad Stahelski has released an official photo from the upcoming sequel showing Keanu Reeves' character riding on horseback at full speed being pursued by assassins on motorcycles through the busy streets of New York City to Empire Magazine.

When asked what the new film will include, Stahelski listed "horses, dogs, cats, a raven, a bunch of pigeons, a motorcycle chase, car chase, Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, shotguns and ninjas".
Video and photos of the horseback chase first leaked from the set in July with the new photo being the first official glimpse of the action sequence from next year's film.

Directed by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Parabellum stars returning actors Keanu Reeves, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, and Common. They are joined by newcomers Halle Berry, Anjelica Huston, Hiroyuki Sanada, Jason Mantzoukas, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Yayan Ruhian, Cecep Arif Rahman, and Tiger Hu Chen. It is scheduled to open on May 17, 2019.
