DC League of Super-Pets sees the Justice League captured by classic Superman villain Lex Luthor and his guinea pig, Lulu. In response, Krypto the Superdog -- played by Dwayne Johnson -- gathers together a team of pets to save the team. Other characters include Batman's Ace the Bat-Hound and Wonder Woman's PB the potbellied pig. Those characters are played by Kevin Hart and Vanessa Bayer, respectively.

Reeves is an actor known for his roles in such films as 1989's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and The Matrix series of films, which began in 1999. The actor is no stranger to comic book films and played John Constantine in 2005's Constantine, a role the actor has said on several occasions that he'd like to reprise in the future.

Over the years, many actors have played Batman in live-action. The most recent of whom is Robert Pattinson, who took up the mantle from Ben Affleck for The Batman. With an 85 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and a strong performance at the box office, Pattinson seems unlikely to leave the role anytime soon, and the actor has discussed plans for a trilogy with director Matt Reeves.

However, Pattinson is not the only actor currently playing Batman. Michael Keaton, who had the role in Tim Burton's two movies, will return for Batgirl and The Flash. The actor will be playing an older version of his character, though more specific details are unavailable at this time as to just how he'll return.

Directed by Jared Stern and produced by Warner Animation Group, DC League of Super-Pets premieres on July 29.
