The San Dimas High School class of 2020 got a massive surprise when Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter appeared via video conference to congratulate them on their commencement. The two are the leads of the Bill & Ted film series, which is set in San Dimas, California.

"Thanks Alex @Winter and Keanu Reeves for making our students day EXTRA speacial [sic] and thank you to @Kimbalow for getting them to wish our students well!" a post on the San Dimas High Twitter account reads.

In their speech, both Winter and Reeves bestowed good wishes upon the class of 2020. "We know it's a tough time right now and you're having to do this virtual graduation," said Winter. "We want to wish you the best of luck moving forward." "Yeah, congratulations to the graduating class of 2020. Well done!" Reeves added.

The two then offered a famous adage from the Bill & Ted films, telling students to be "excellent to each other and party on."

Reeves and Winter will reprise their roles in Bill & Ted Face the Music. Directed by Dean Parisot and written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, the film also stars Anthony Carrigan, Kid Cudi, Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving. The film arrives in theaters Aug. 21.
