Katherine Langford Photo Fuels Speculation About Avengers: Endgame Role

Katherine Langford 13 Reasons Why

In October, it was announced that 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford would be joining the cast of Avengers: Endgame in an unknown role. But yesterday, the actress uploaded a photo with her hair dyed red, which has led to some speculations as to her role in the upcoming film.

On her personal Instagram account, Langford shows off her new red locks for the world to see, while ominously posting "she (red)y" in the description. It's worth noting that another round of Endgame-related reshoots is currently underway.

This, of course, has led fans to guess as to whom Langford will play when Endgame comes out, with many guessing she may be playing the child of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. This may tie into Gwyneth Paltrow's confirmation that the two will have a child later on, as well as the Russo brothers' tease that there is more to Tony's dream about having a child.

This could also further add speculation to the theory that time travel will play a key part in Endgame, meaning either one or more of the characters travel to the future, or that Langford's character travels to the past to help the heroes battle Thanos. Whatever her role may be, Langford will at least have the honor of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the climatic showdown between the Avengers and Thanos when Avengers: Endgame opens.
