The Karate Kid is one of the most popular films from the '80s, leading to a film franchise and the hit spinoff television series Cobra Kai. Now, a stop-motion video created its own spin on the rivalry between Danny LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).

Reckless Abandonment Pictures in Oakland, California produced the animated video by using nearly 2,000 shots of Icon Heroes' The Karate Kid action figures.

The Karate Kid themed-video begins with Daniel practicing his martial arts alone on the beach. Then, Johnny rides in on a motorcycle and sends it flying at Daniel, leading to a fight. Daniel picks up a boombox and smashes Johnny in the face with it -- with said boombox featuring a snippet from the film's iconic song "You're The Best" by Joe Esposito.

The video was created to promote Icon Heroes' action figures based on The Karate Kid's Danny and Johnny. Both the Danny and Johnny figures stand at 6 inches tall and feature 29 points of articulation as well as multiple interchangeable hands and heads. Johnny is adorned in his Cobra Kai uniform while Daniel wears his all-white gi and signature headband.
