Though her screen time was short, her role was important in the first “Guardians of the Galaxy” film, and Karen Gillan's Nebula will certainly be featured more as the Marvel movies go further. Yep, that’s it, unfortunately. While it’s not truly groundbreaking news, it’s still nice to have some kind of confirmation on just who might be in “Avengers: Infinity War”. As we know, the movie will supposedly feature nearly the entire cast of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, so getting to narrow it down - even by one - is very much appreciated.
Of course, it does make sense for Gillan’s Nebula to appear in the “Avengers” film, as she is the adopted daughter of Thanos in the MCU. Her character also plays an incredibly major role in the original “Infinity Gauntlet” comic; in that series, Thanos assembled the six Infinity Gems, builds the Gauntlet, and then proceeded to rule the universe. Nebula is one of his earliest victims, in fact, falling in dramatic fashion to the power of the Gauntlet.
