It seems like Zack Snyder's original vision for Justice League is becoming more popular each day. Fans know that Darkseid was supposed to be featured in the film, and according to Snyder, Ray Porter would have played him.

Now, Porter has joined in on the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut fanfare, commenting about it on his Twitter.

Porter's tweet reads, "Hello @ATT and @warnerbos. It sounds like all the gods are shouting with one united voice. #ReleaseTheSnyderCut."

Porter is best known for smaller roles in different TV shows such as ER, making Justice League one of his most unique projects. While Darkseid was alluded to in the final version of the film, the character was cut entirely.

The #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement has gained a lot of traction recently, even garnering the support of Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman)Justice League had a particularly troubled production process. After Snyder left, Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the film, ultimately changing many aspects of it.

According to Jason Momoa, who claims to have seen the Snyder Cut, the two films are completely different. This has led to many disgruntled--and vocal--fans to fight for the release of Snyder's original vision.

Warner Bros. has been tight-lipped on the controversy surrounding the Justice League Snyder Cut. However, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), the next film in the DC Extended Universe, is set to be released on Feb. 7, 2020.
