Followers of Justice League's "Release the Snyder Cut" movement have worked to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention—and Zack Snyder couldn't be more thankful.

On Vero, Snyder shared several images, including one of fans dressed as various DC characters holding a #ReleasetheSnyderCut banner. "I’m grateful for the constantly humbling support of this incredible fandom and the work that’s been done to raise money for suicide prevention," Snyder said along with the images. "You guys are my heroes."

During filming on 2017's Justice League, Snyder left the director's chair to deal with the death of his daughter, who he lost to suicide. The Snyder Cut movement began soon after Justice League's initial release.

The "Release the Snyder Cut" movement has gained much support from both fans and big-name celebrities, including much of Justice League's main cast. It has been speculated that the cut would release on WarnerMedia's upcoming streaming service, HBO Max, though this has not been confirmed nor denied.

Over the years, Snyder Cut supporters have run several programs benefiting the American Federation for Suicide Prevention. Back in January 2019, Snyder himself contributed a design to a T-shirt campaign hosted by Snyder Cut supporters.
