According to a post by director Zack Snyder, the reshoots for his version of Justice League have begun.The post was made on Twitter and contained an image of a clapper board with the Justice League logo on it, while parts of the words Zack Snyder Director could be seen on the right side of the frame. There was no caption to accompany the image.

HBO Max previously announced that about a week of reshoots will be conducted for Zack Snyder's version of Justice League. A number of the original cast members will step back behind the camera for the new scenes, including Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Jared Leto, reprising his role of Joker from Suicide Squad, will be added to the production through these reshoots.

In May, Warner Bros. announced it will release Zack Snyder's original cut of Justice League on HBO Max. The alternate version of the film will debut as four one-hour episodes in 2021, while a single cut of the entire film will release later on. Though the project was originally estimated to cost $30 million, new projections put its budget closer to $70 million.

Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Zack Snyder's Justice League will premiere exclusively on HBO Max in 2021.
