Ever since the theatrical version of Justice League was released, fans have speculated on the extent to which Zack Snyder's film was reshot. Now, Ray Fisher has revealed how many of his scenes were reshoots.
Fisher made an appearance on the Geek House Show YouTube channel, where he revealed that the majority of his role as Cyborg was reshot for the final film. "What I can tell you from my character, and for what you saw in the theatrical version, that every single scene with the exception of the Gotham City police rooftop scene with Commissioner Gordon and Batman and Flash. Every single scene that I’m in was reshot. I reshot almost the entire film on my end. As far as other people’s stuff where I wasn’t there, I can’t really tell you."
Fisher has recently been outspoken about the reshoots on Justice League, which saw Snyder stepping down from the film due to a family tragedy and Joss Whedon stepping in for post-production. Fisher accused Whedon of "gross and unprofessional behavior," including lightening a cast member's skin in the post-production process. A spokesperson for Whedon disputed these claims, with Fisher making a counter statement.
Fisher will next appear in Zack Snyder's Justice League, slated to debut on HBO Max in 2021.
