Justice League: Flash’s Inexperience Amuses Wonder Woman in New Clip

Wonder Woman can’t hide her snickering in this new Justice League clip. The reason for her brief lack of composure? The Flash, of course.

In the new clip, which went live on Justice League‘s Twitter account, The Flash (Ezra Miller) is explaining to Batman (an intensely gruff Ben Affleck) that he’s never actually fought bad guys before, he’s only pushed folks and relied on his super-speed to keep him out of trouble.

The assembled members of the nascent Justice League are confounded by the Flash’s youth and inexperience. Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), though, is the one who’s most affected. Is she snickering out of compassion for The Flash, much like an older sister or mother would quietly laugh at their younger sibling or child learning something new? Or is she laughing because she can’t believe they’ll have to babysit him while they fight Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds)? Justice League fans will just have to wait and see.

Flash will get more than his fair share of experience before the DCEU is done with him as Miller will star in his own standalone film, Flashpoint, which will also bring on Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen and maybe even an appearance by Gadot.

Debuting in theaters on Nov. 17, Justice League is a production of DC Films directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons and Ciarán Hinds.
