Zack Snyder just revealed that one of Justice League's deleted scenes contained a Watchmen Easter egg. Posting on the social media platform Vero, Snyder -- who directed part of the film before stepping down -- uploaded a photo from a cut scene that shows Ezra Miller's Barry Allen wearing a Watchmen-inspired t-shirt. The shirt boasts the logo for Tales of the Black Freighter, a magazine read by two minor Watchmen characters.

Tales of the Black Freighter never made it into the theatrical version of Watchmen, which was also directed by Snyder, but it was included in the Ultimate Cut of the movie that was later released. The director is known for lacing his comic book adaptations with Easter eggs for eagle-eyed viewers to discover, and this is just another to add onto the long list.
