  • The return of Wonder Woman! Wait, what’s that? Also, the return of…OMAC! Jack Kirby’s greatest creation, the One-Man Army Corps, returns to the DC universe just in time to team up with the reunited Justice League to stop secret forces of evil from gathering! Join Eisner Award winner Sanford Greene as he brings the legacy of the League to life leading into Justice League vs. the Legion of Super-Heroes!

Additionally, Justice League 2021 Annual #1 welcomes Wonder Woman back to the pages of Justice League. After the events of Dark Nights: Death Metal, Wonder Woman has been traveling across the Multiverse on a quest to find her way home. Diana's journey has brought her face-to-face with Norse Gods and alternate-reality doppelgangers, while her mother has taken her place in the Justice League. It remains to be seen if the return of Wonder Woman means that Hippolyta will be leaving the team.

Justice League 2021 Annual #1 is also set to feature an appearance from O.M.A.C. Originally created by Jack Kirby, O.M.A.C. - the One Man Army Corps -- will be teaming up with the Justice League. While an entirely new O.M.A.C. has been seen recently in Grant Morrison's Superman and the Authority, it is likely that Bendis will be bringing back the classic incarnation, which was last seen in the pages of Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium, also by Bendis.

The Legion of Super-Heroes are young heroes who model themselves after the Justice League. They were a staple of DC's publishing line for decades before disappearing during the New 52, only to pop up again alongside the Justice Society of America in Doomsday Clock. Since returning, the Legion of Super-Heroes have starred in their own series, also written by Bendis, which ended in early 2021. Now, with their impending appearance in Justice League 2021 Annual #1, the future is bright once more for the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Justice League 2021 Annual #1 goes on sale on Dec. 14 from DC Comics.
