Spanning the course of four hours, Zack Snyder's Justice League will have ample opportunity to spotlight a multitude of characters during its runtime. One of these characters will be none other than J'onn J'onzz, aka the Martian Manhunter -- and now a possible first look at the character has been revealed.Zack Snyder posted an image by DC Comics' Chief Creative Officer and Publisher Jim Lee to Twitter, which features the Martian Manhunter standing alongside Wonder Woman and Aquaman. J'onn is depicted with craggy green skin and a triangular head, emphasizing his Martian appearance. "Jim Lee is working on this amazing art as a variant cover for the current run of Justice League comic," Snyder wrote. Lee backed this up, thanking Snyder for the inspiration and specifically mentioned Brave and the Bold #28 -- which happens to be the first appearance of the Justice League.RELATED: Zack Snyder's Justice League Will Debut Globally on the Same Day - Mostly

In addition to Lee, artists Lee Bermejo and Liam Sharp will provide variant covers for Justice League #59, which features the debut of Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez as the new creative team as the League is revamped under Superman's direction. Bermejo's cover features Superman in his black and white suit alongside the Flash, with Darkseid glowering in the distance. Sharp's cover features Batman and Cyborg, with Steppenwolf towering over them.

Martian Manhunter will be portrayed by Harry Lennix, who played General Calvin Swanwick in Snyder's previous DC films Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Lennix confessed that he had no idea what his version of Martian Manhunter looked like, as he performed the role while wearing a motion-capture suit.

In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Porter as Darkseid, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K.
