Whether or not Batman's most prolific villain, The Joker, should have a definitive origin story has been the subject of debate amongst comic book fans for nearly 80 years. However, in Scott Snyder and Jorge Jimenez's Justice League #6... well, we won't exactly see the Clown Prince of Crime's origin, but we will get a rare glimpse into his childhood.During DC Comics' Justice League panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego, a page of Jimenez's artwork from the upcoming issue was revealed, and in it, we get four glimpses into The Joker's past. The first is a look at Joker as the leader of the Red Hood gang; the second, a failed comedian, a la The Killing Joke. However, in the bottom two panels, we get to see The Joker as a child, at which time he was already unhinged and apparently cooking whole birds in ovens after school.

“So coming up, in issue #6, we’re going to focus on Joker," Synder said at the Justice League panel. “I love Batman as comic relief. I wrote him so seriously for so long.”
