Recently, a pretty impressive line of posters debuted in China leading up to the country's Justice League premiere. Today, a new, minute-long trailer has arrived, and it showcases the film's villain and his many minions far better than anything we've seen to date.

Check out the one minute video below for a better look at Steppenwolf and his parademon legion, not to mention new insight into the League's team dynamic, and Wonder Woman's brief summary of what happened the last time Apokolips's New Gods targeted Earth.

The onscreen text may be in Chinese, but the actual dialogue is in English, showcasing Steppenwolf's solid evilness. "Please, we have families," one particularly doomed-looking human pleads, prompting Darkseid's uncle to answer with the question, "Why does everyone keep telling me that?" The new trailer also continues the trend of emphasizing that film's tone will be a much lighter than previous DCEU entries.
