Steppenwolf, Apokolips’ esteemed general -- and uncle of Darkseid -- has been known to be the big-bad in Justice League for awhile now. However, fans haven't seen much (or any) of the character in promotional material for the Zack Snyder-directed film, apart from the leaked image for an upcoming LEGO tie-in. Now, we have our best look yet as Batman-News has obtained an image for an upcoming tie-in toy that boasts a two-pack featuring Batman and Steppenwolf. In the comics, Steppenwolf first appeared in New Gods #7, by comics legend Jack Kirby. He has a solid villainous resume as the general of the army on Apokolips, plus one-ups Superman, as he actually survived a battle with Doomsday. The character recently appeared in the “Darkseid War” arc of Justice League by Geoff Johns and Jason Fabok.
