Zack Snyder's Justice League will feature an abundance of new footage, with director Zack Snyder's cut of the film totaling a 4-hour runtime. While many of these new details and cameos have been confirmed by the director, though there are more surprises still to come.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Snyder spoke at length about his cut of Justice League and revealed that he has shot an entirely new ending which includes a cameo of a new hero "that will blow hard-core fans' minds." Currently, it is unclear who this "mind-blowing" cameo will feature or what it will entail, and may only be revealed when the film premieres in March.

Snyder has confirmed several new additions to his cut of Justice League, most of which were part of the director's original plan for the film. This includes the introduction of Martian Manhunter (played by Harry Lennix), a character originally intended to appear in 2017's Justice League before Snyder left the project.

Snyder even shared a line of new dialogue from the character, indicating that "a war is coming," along with a variant cover that teased Martian Manhunter's character design. However, Lennix, who played General Calvin Swanwick in Snyder's Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, revealed he is still not sure of the character's official look, as he filmed the role entirely in a motion-capture suit.

Snyder has not been shy about sharing teasers on his social media, posting new images and clips from the trailer in the days leading up to its release. The official trailer dropped on Valentine's Day and promised a different story than the 2017 theatrical cut, with a multitude of remastered footage. The trailer reintroduced Jared Leto's Joker to the DC Extended Universe as well, another confirmed character set to appear in the Snyder Cut. Apparently, the addition of the Clown Prince of Crime was the only deviation from Snyder's original vision.

Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Porter as Darkseid, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film arrives on HBO Max March 18.
