Snyder Cut fans coordinated to tweet #RestoreTheSnyderVerse at specific times worldwide, in order to convince Warner Bros. to allow Zack Snyder to continue his vision of the DC Extended Universe. Zack Snyder's Justice League contained numerous Easter eggs and teases for sequels to his Snyder Cut, most notably in the film's Knightmare epilogue scene and the appearance of Martian Manhunter.

However, while WarnerMedia Studios CEO Ann Sarnoff recently asked fans to be patient post-Snyder Cut, even if the studio's plans for the DCEU do not involve Zack Snyder.

"We're always going to listen to our fans, but we are in service of the broadest fanbase and we owe them an integrated, holistic strategy," Sarnoff said. "We are the shepherds of the franchise and hopefully, when the fans see what we've got in store, they'll know that DC is in good hands across many different platforms with many different creators. We want different voices in the mix. For certain fans that want singular voices, they may be disappointed, but we would ask them to be patient and see what we’ve got in store because perhaps the newer voices in the mix will have just as compelling stories to tell. On balance, you of course want to listen to your fans, but we do want to stay true to our vision and our mission for DC and build that out."

In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Porter as Darkseid, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K.
