Zack Snyder's Justice League star Ray Fisher elaborated on how Joss Whedon and Geoff Johns treated him during 2017's Justice League reshoots, calling their behavior threatening.

Fisher detailed how then co-chairman of DC Films and Justice League producer Geoff Johns reacted to Fisher's agent contacting then Warner Bros. Pictures Group and Chief Content Officer Toby Emmerich with concerns about his and Whedon's on-set behavior to THR. Fisher recalled a one-on-one conversation with Johns who said contacting Emmerich was "just not cool." Fisher added, "He said, 'I consider us to be friends -- which he knew we were not -- and I just don't want you to make a bad name for yourself in the business,'" which felt like a threat.

In response to allegations regarding threats made by Geoff Johns, a representative for Johns states that the producer never made a threat towards Fisher. The rep notes that John's conversation with Fisher was about how the head of a film studio is not usually contacted by an actor's agent in regards to a scenario involving creative issues.

The Cyborg actor also cited examples of Whedon's dismissive behavior on set, recalling Whedon telling him, "It feels like I'm taking notes right now, and I don't like taking notes from anybody -- not even Robert Downey Jr."

While Fisher didn't cite examples of Whedon's toxic behavior to other actors -- in the spirit of leaving that choice up to those involved -- sources close to the Warner Bros. Justice League investigation discussed threats made by Joss Whedon to Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot. Allegedly, a source cited his bragging about mistreating her, recalling, "Joss was bragging that he's had it out with Gal." The unnamed source added, "He told her he's the writer and she's going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie."

Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film is now streaming on HBO Max.
