Actor Ray Fisher, who has made claims against individuals working for WarnerMedia including DC Films President Walter Hamada, has shared a recording of a conversation that he had with an investigator on the case.Fisher posted the audio clip to Twitter, writing, "Here is a clip from my final conversation with WarnerMedia’s independent investigator on December 11th, 2020. Hopefully it lends itself to the truth of the investigation, and to the credibility of my current claims against Walter Hamada’s dangerous behavior." As with many of his posts on the topic, he ended the tweet with "A>E," meaning "Accountability over entertainment."
In the clip, Fisher's voice is heard first, saying that he knows that the process has not been easy and apologizing for any times that he may have come off as defensive. The investigator then responds, "Ray, you've been a gentleman. You've been a gentleman, and I will say you've been a man of your word, and that is what we've reported to the company."
She also said, "You are someone that we have found extremely credible, and the fact that you've risked so much is part of what lends itself to your credibility." At the end of the clip, she notes, "The facts speak for themselves."
Fisher's feud with WarnerMedia began with allegations about abusive behavior from director Joss Whedon on the set of Justice League, in which he played Cyborg. Warner Bros. launched an investigation based on Fisher's claims and the individuals that he specified, including not only Whedon but Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. This was followed by a third-party investigation at Fisher's request.
WarnerMedia stated in December that "remedial action" had been taken as a result of the investigations, but the nature of the actions taken was not revealed, and Fisher has expressed his continued dissatisfaction on social media. He has also turned his focus to Hamada, accusing him of enabling others' misconduct and undermining the investigation.
Fisher's next appearance as Cyborg will be in Zack Snyder's Justice League.
