Actor Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg in the DC Extended Universe, has posted an open letter updating fans about his feud with WarnerMedia regarding allegations of abusive and racist behavior on the set of Justice League.Fisher began by stating that he had received official confirmation that he would not be returning as Cyborg in The Flash. "Despite the misconception, Cyborg's involvement in The Flash was much larger than a cameo -- and while I do mourn the lost opportunity to bring Victor Stone back to the screen, bringing awareness to the actions of Walter Hamada will prove to be a much more important contribution to our world."RELATED: Michael Keaton as Main DCEU Batman Debunked, Only Appearing in Flash Movie

Warner Bros. launched an investigation based on Fisher's claims about the Justice League set and the individuals that he specified, including not only Whedon but Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. This was followed by a third-party investigation at Fisher's request. WarnerMedia stated in December that "remedial action" had been taken as a result of the investigations, but the nature of the actions taken was not revealed, and Fisher has expressed his continued dissatisfaction on social media.

In his letter, Fisher went on to reiterate his declaration that he would not be involved in any production involving the current DC Films President Walter Hamada and to summarize the conflict that they have had so far. "Despite Walter's best efforts, the Justice League investigation was able to expose the racist, coercive, discriminatory, and retaliatory behavior of of Geoff Johns during his tenure with WarnerMedia's associates. It has also led to the more immediate parting of ways between WarnerMedia and Joss Whedon."

"Walter's actions have transformed this narrative from an investigation of on-set misconduct in 2017 to the examination of the present day cover-up culture," Fisher said in closing. "I maintain that Walter Hamada is unfit for a position of leadership -- and I am willing, at any point, to submit to a polygraph test to support my claims against him."

Fisher's next appearance as Cyborg will be in Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The four-part miniseries premieres on HBO Max in March.
