Batman V Superman:Dawn of Justice featured Jesse Eisenberg's first appearance as the famed Superman villain, Lex Luthor. The actor would later reprise the role for an after credits cameo in 2017's Justice LeagueNow, Eisenberg has revealed that he would like to portray Luthor again in a future DC Extended Universe film.

"Oh yeah, I would love to because it’s such a cool character," Eisenberg said about reprising the role. "To play a villain in a superhero movie is the fun part. The good guys are fine but the villain is the fun part cause you get to be more flamboyant. The hero usually gets to survive but the villain has all the funny lines."

Eisenberg's Justice League appearance as Lex Luthor would occur in an after-credits scene, which also featured Joe Manganiello's Slade Wilson/Deathstroke. It was initially planned for a Justice League sequel to release in June 2019, though this never came to pass.

Jesse Eisenberg recently appeared in Zombieland: Double Tap, which was the sequel to 2009's Zombieland. The actor is also starring in the upcoming Jonathan Jakubowicz film, Resistance, which is set to release on March 27, 2020.

Justice League is available digitally and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD. The film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
