News of the fabled Snyder Cut of Justice League has hit the forefront yet again, this time coming from Jason Momoa himself.

Momoa, who played Aquaman in the film, confirmed to MTV that he did see the Snyder Cut of the film and it's a totally different product than the Whedon/Snyder cut that made it to theaters.

The video of their interaction can be seen on MTV News' YouTube channel.

MTV asked the Aquaman star, "So is that partially why when we spoke about a year ago and I brought up the Snyder Cut, you were like 'Fuck yeah, I need to see it'?" Momoa responded, saying, "Yeah. Absolutely. But I have seen it, so. I have seen the Snyder Cut, so..."

To follow up, MTV asked, "Do you think we'll ever see it, do you think the public will ever see it? It seems like the groundswell has grown." Momoa responded, "I think the public needs to see it. I'm obviously indebted to Warners and DC, and I don't know how they feel about it. As a fan, I'm very happy that I got to see it."

When asked if the Snyder Cut was vastly different from the theatrical release of the film, Momoa confirmed.

For now, when it comes to the DCEU, Jason Momoa is focused on working on Aquaman 2. Momoa claims he's been very involved on the project, both behind the scenes and on the screen.

Aquaman 2 is scheduled for release on December 16, 2022. It will be written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and star Jason Momoa.
