DC's new limited series Justice League Infinity will see a return to the DC Animated Universe.

Justice League Infinity sees the original roster from the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series battling multiple threats from across the DC Multiverse, including the forces of Apokolips. Justice League Infinity is co-written by Justice League/Justice League Unlimited producer James Tucker and J.M. DeMatteis (Justice League InternationalSpider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt) with artwork by Ethen Beavers.

Justice League premiered in 2001, and brought the titular superhero team together to face world-ending threats. Its sequel series Justice League Unlimited saw the League expand its roster in the wake of a Thanagarian invasion, leading to conflicts with the government organization known as Cadmus. DeMatteis wrote multiple episodes of Justice League Unlimited, including "For The Man Who Has Everything" -- an adapation of the story of the same name penned by Alan Moore.

Justice League Infinity is the latest DC comic to revisit the world of the DC Animated Universe. Batman: The Adventures Continues picked up after the conclusion of Batman: The Animated Serieswith its sequel Batman: The Adventures Continue Season II slated to debut in May. DC will also revisit the world of its more iconic movies with digital-first Batman '89 and Superman '78.

Written by James Tucker & J.M. DeMatteis and illustrated by Ethen Beavers, Justice League Infinity will be available on participating digital platforms on Thursday, May 13. The first print issue will go on sale on Tuesday, July 6.
