Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman share the screen in seven seconds of unreleased footage from Justice League.

The sequence, directed by Joss Whedon, arrives courtesy of visual-effects artist Ariel Suero, whose work on the Warner Bros. film included digitally removing Cavill's infamous mustache from reshoot scenes. This scene presumably was intended to take place in the third act, after the fight with Steppenwolf.

Suero’s credits also include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

The Justice League home release includes two deleted Superman scenes directed by Zack Sndyer, who left the production in May 2017 following a family tragedy, leaving Whedon to supervise extensive, and expensive, reshoots. In recent weeks, Snyder has shared photos from additional scenes edited from the final product, fueling the demand by fans for Warner Bros. to release a "Snyder cut."

Available now on digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
