First it was the heroes; now it's the villains.
Joe Manganiello, who cameoed as Deathstroke in Justice League, showed his support for the Snyder Cut with an Instagram post. "#releasethesnydercut," he writes. Accompanying his post is a series of photos from the film, including one Zack Snyder on set directing the scene.
Manganiello is the latest DCEU star to voice his support for the release of Zack Snyder's version of Justice League. Both Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck -- Wonder Woman and Batman -- took to social media to support the movement, as did Ray Fisher, aka Cyborg. Jason Momoa, who portrays Aquaman, demanded its release two weeks ago.
The recent wave of support comes as Justice League celebrates its two-year anniversary. The film opened on Nov. 17, 2017, to mediocre reviews and was a moderate box office success.
Justice League is available digitally and on Blu-ray and DVD. The film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
