Joe Manganiello, who appeared as Deathstroke in a post-credits scene of Justice League, has shared a new look at his DC villain for Zack Snyder's director cut of Justice League."Heroes & Villains can put their differences aside for an important cause...," Manganiello tweeted, along with a link to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's tribute fund for Autumn Snyder, the director's daughter who took her own life, causing Snyder to step away from Justice League.

It was reported in October that Manganiello would return to Justice League for additional shooting. The actor also wouldn't confirm if he had shot any additional scenes. "I knew you were gonna ask me this, man. I knew it," Manganiello said when asked if he was doing any additional photography. "They're gonna go crazy, and they're gonna come back at me with whatever I say," he added when bringing up the fan reaction to whatever his response would be.

Manganiello's photo is black-and-white, which is also Zack Snyder's preferred viewing option for Justice League. The director previously shared a black-and-white version of his Justice League director's cut trailer, which also added additional new shots for fans to take in. Snyder also revealed that his ideal format of the director's cut of Justice League is the black-and-white IMAX version.

"My ideal version of the movie is the black-and-white IMAX version of the movie," Snyder said. "That to me is the most fan-centric, most pure, most Justice League experience." He attributed his love of the non-color version to having only seen the black-and-white edition for two years before HBO Max finally picked it up as four-episode TV series.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Zack Snyder's Justice League will premiere exclusively on HBO Max in 2021.
