Newly unveiled concept art for Zack Snyder's Justice League highlights Cyborg's extra arms and helmet.

The artwork was posted to Instagram by Justice League costume concept illustrator Jerad S. Marantz. "Looks like [Cyborg's] arms are back! Very excited to see them in the last [Justice League] trailer. Can not wait for March 18th," he wrote. "Here’s an early version of the concept model I did while on the show. This is a bulkier version of the character. I really wanted him to still feel like a football player. A lot of these shapes made it into the final design for [Cyborg]."

"So great to see [Cyborg's] helmet back in the trailers," he added. "It was such a great look. I really love the prime one statue featuring the mask. They really nailed the design."

Cyborg/Victor Stone's original appearance and role were heavily revamped during the reshoots on Justice League, which saw Snyder stepping down from the film due to a personal tragedy and Joss Whedon replacing him for post-production. According to actor Ray Fisher, nearly every one of Snyder's Cyborg shots were redone by Whedon, "with the exception of the Gotham City police rooftop scene with Commissioner Gordon and Batman and Flash." That footage will be restored in Zack Snyder's Justice League, along with everything else Whedon re-filmed for the movie's theatrical cut.

In July 2020, Fisher alleged that Whedon had engaged in "gross, abusive, unprofessional" behavior during the Justice League reshoots, saying he was "enabled" by producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. His allegations led to Warner Bros. launching an official investigation, followed by a third-party investigation at Fisher's request. WarnerMedia announced it had completed its investigation in December 2020 and taken "remedial action" based on its findings. While Fisher has expressed his continued dissatisfaction and refused to take part in any Warner Bros. projects overseen by DC Films President Walter Hamada, he's been actively promoting Snyder's Justice League cut on social media.

Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Porter as Darkseid, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film arrives on HBO Max March 18.
