Fans have been clamoring for a cut of Justice League based on the scenes Zack Snyder shot prior to stepping away from the film. While that's unlikely to ever happen, concept footage now gives fans a chance to see what some key scenes may have looked like in a pure-Snyder version.

The video, which comes from previsualization artist Greg Ecklund's Vimeo, shows concept footage that would have helped Snyder get an idea of what the scene would look like before he started shooting. The Justice League portion starts around the 46 second mark and shows what the scene shortly after Superman's resurrection might have been filmed. The footage also shares a different look for Steppenwolf during his confrontation with the Amazons and shows parademons attacking the Batmobile during the movie's climax.

Following Snyder's departure, Avengers director Joss Whedon, who had already been recruited to write additional scenes for the film, oversaw what turned out to be substantial reshoots on the film, with many scenes being left on the cutting room floor due to the studio-mandated two-hour runtime. The Blu-ray release of the film is expected to contain some of those scenes.

Despite the success of Wonder Woman earlier in the year, Justice League underperformed with critics and at the box-office. The movie is expected to finish its theatrical run with a gross of around $675 million.

Justice League will release digitally on Feb. 13, with the Blu-ray release following on March 13. The film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
