Actor Willem Dafoe was originally supposed to make his debut as Nuidis Vulko in 2017's Justice League. However, the character didn't make it into the final cut, as Warner Bros. reportedly mandated that the film have a two-hour runtime. A new piece of concept art gives a look at what Vulko could have looked like had he appeared in Justice League.

The images, which come from the ArtStation account of concept artist Constantine Sekeris, shows Vulko outfitted in the costume he would have worn in Justice League. The fact that the face used in the model bears pretty much no resemblance to Dafoe seems to indicate that this design was indeed from very early in the production process.

Although the character didn't appear in Justice League, Vulko did appear in James Wan's Aquaman, which is now the highest-grossing DC superhero movie ever.
