"Justice League" has found its villain. As revealed by The Wrap, Ciaran Hinds ("Game of Thrones") will take on the role of Steppenwolf, a militaristic alien warrior from the planet Apokolips. Hinds previously played Mance Rayder on the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones."

The report states that Hinds has already wrapped production on the character, which will be brought to life via motion capture. The Wrap adds that they've heard from insiders that Steppenwolf will also look a bit different than he did in the deleted scene from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Steppenwolf previously appeared in a deleted scene from this year's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." In the scene, he was seen communicating with Lex Luthor while holding artifacts known as Mother Boxes. It's heavily rumored that the three Mother Boxes will play a major role in "Justice League."
