Much of the Justice League promos released so far teased Batman's metahuman recruitment trips, including meet-ups with both Aquaman and The Flash. Recently, two new clips have surfaced that expand on Bruce Wayne's first encounters with the eventual League members, one of which goes over much better than the other.

First up is Batman's excursion to an icy fishing village, where Arthur Curry is clearly less than happy to be publicly outed as an Atlantean.

Next on Bruce's docket is Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash, who unlike Curry seems very excited to be included in, well, anything involving other people.

Both scenes show off the movie's much lighter, adventurous tone (compared to 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), framing it in a pretty stark contrast to most recent DC Comics-based films to date. Each clip is also followed with a previously released brief character introduction courtesy of the actors playing each role, helping fill audiences in on each hero's backstory.
