It's uncertain if we'll ever see Zack Snyder's Justice League roster suited up again on the big screen, but we did get a mini-reunion of sorts at this weekend's San Antonio Celerity Fan Fest with Ben Affleck, aka Batman, and Ray Fisher, aka Cyborg.
Fisher shared a photo of himself and Dark Knight actor Ben Affleck in what's clearly an affectionate bro moment, with Fisher resting his head on Affleck's shoulder.
This image is certainly bittersweet, with rumors Warner Bros. wants to move away from Affleck's Caped Crusader, and the apparent stalling of the Cyborg solo film Fisher was supposed to star in. With only Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2 truly holding elements of the DC Extended Universe of old, it remains to be seen if the studio will continue the vision Snyder built.
Matt Reeves' solo Batman movie, on the other hand, is reportedly looking at a new Dark Knight, while it's yet to be confirmed if Henry Cavill will don Superman's cape again. Meanwhile, Ezra Miller's Flashpoint movie has been pushed back once more, with Snyder himself indicating his trilogy for the League is dead.
Fans will be keeping a close eye on next month's Aquaman and the Shazam! reshoots, though, to see if Warner Bros. is really ready to move past Affleck, Fisher and Co.
As it stands, fans may want to soak in this moment, because it could be the last time these Leaguers are united.
