According to Justice League star Jason Momoa, Aquman Week is here. In a short clip, Momoa revealed that Warner Bros. will release new content that will take "a deep dive into what makes Aquaman a true master of the ocean and all-time legend of the DC Universe" in honor of Aquaman week.
No new footage was revealed in the clip, which contained snippets of Aquaman taking out Parademons from the previous Justice League trailers. A new motion poster depicting the King of Atlantis was released only a couple hours later. The poster features a fierce black-and-white portrait of Momoa's Arthur Curry, with half of Aquaman's insignia popping up on the right side of the image.
This new image was captioned "We dig it," referencing his banter with Bruce Wayne from the first teaser and their overall bromance as they prep to stave off the impending invasion of Steppenwolf and the forces of Apokolips.
Opening November 17, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Raymond Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Amber Heard as Mera and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
Momoa will reprise his role under director James Wan and alongside Amber Heard in Aquaman, which is scheduled for release on December 21, 2018.
