Jurassic World: Dominion director Colin Trevorrow shared a brand new still from the film, which appears to show Chris Pratt's Owen Grady attempting to tame another dinosaur.

The new image was shared exclusively by Entertainment Weekly and depicts Pratt's character reaching toward the parasaur's head while holding a rope that's tied around the creature's neck.

In addition to sharing the photo, Trevorrow gave some context about Owen's journey to help save the dinosaurs in the new film, which includes rounding up one species in the snowy Sierra Nevada mountain range.

"He's not too far from where the dinosaurs got out in the last film," the director explained. "The parasaurs are in danger of being poached. There's a lot of shady types out there who want to get their hands on dinosaurs, so he's working to protect them."

The director also teased that Dominion will take place around the world and across all types of different environments, noting, "It's exciting to see these creatures navigate environments that they weren't built to survive in. They grew up in a theme park and now they're here!"

Trevorrow's comments about the film's plot and setting come just days after he teased how much screen time original Jurassic Park stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum will get in the latest installment. Specifically, the director said the trio "have as much screen time" as current franchise stars Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, explaining, "They're not together the entire time, but we are following both of their stories equally, and you have a sense that they're going to collide at a certain point. There's this tension. It's not structured necessarily in a way that we're used to seeing our Hollywood movies structured. But it works."

The director also previously revealed Dominion will celebrate the entire Jurassic franchise. "What was important for me was, when you watch Dominion, you really feel like you are learning how much of a story that the first set of movies were and how everything that happened in those movies actually informs what ultimately is able to happen in this," Trevorrow said at the start of 2021. "If kids who are born today are going to be presented with six Jurassic Park movies — you hope the parents will buy them the box set — you hope they are going to get to feel like they watch one long story."

While Dominion won't be released until Summer 2022, a new prologue for the latest Jurassic World installment recently teased what fans can expect. The teaser opened with scenes depicting what life was like for dinosaurs 65 million years ago, including a scene in which the T-Rex is defeated by a series newcomer known as the Giganotosaurus. The prologue ended in the present day, with the T-Rex from 1993's Jurassic Park racing through a drive-in theater while being pursued by humans.

Jurassic World Dominion arrives in theaters on June 10, 2022.
