Jurassic World: Dominion added a new role, but it's one that original Jurassic Park fans will find familiar.

Campbell Scott (House of Cards) will portray Lewis Dodgson, the CEO of Biosyn Genetics, a rival of InGen that is mentioned in the books but not Spielberg's film. In Jurassic Park, Dodgson tasks Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) with retrieving several dinosaur embryos from Jurassic Park. Nedry was eventually eaten by a Dilophosaurus, and the embryos were assumed to be lost. The role was originally played by Cameron Thor. However, Thor is a convicted sex offender, hence the recast.

Dodgson is not the only character who is returning from the first film. Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum — who previously appeared in Fallen Kingdom — will be reprising their roles as Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler and Ian Malcolm, respectively. Production on Dominion will resume soon, with Universal Pictures spending $5 million in safety measures due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

Directed and co-written by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World: Dominion also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda,Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise and Dichen Lachman. The film arrives in theaters on June 11, 2021.
