Both versions of Universal Pictures' Jurassic World Dominion are headed to Peacock.

Peacock recently announced that both the extended and theatrical versions of the third Jurassic World movie will debut on the streaming service on Sept. 2. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the extended edition of Jurassic World Dominion features an alternate opening and 14 extra minutes of footage, as well as behind-the-scenes content chronicling the making of the movie in its entirety. Also among the bonus content are featurettes detailing the film's practical and visual effects, stunt sequences and more behind-the-scenes footage.

Also among the bonus features is the original short film Battle at Big Rock. Also directed by Trevorrow, Battle at Big Rock takes place one year after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and stars André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd, and Pierson Salvador.

Dominion stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, BD Wong and Omar Sy. Starting on Sept. 1, Peacock will also stream Steven Spielberg's original 1993 film Jurassic Park, along with its sequel The Lost World from 1997 and Jurassic Park 3 from 2001. Jurassic World Dominion joins other additions to Peacock's streaming library, which include Black Phone, Bad Guys, Downton Abbey: A New Era, The Northman, Ambulance, Firestarter and The Outfit.

Jurassic World Dominion Extended Edition was announced by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment in August 2022, confirming that the film would now include 14 extra minutes of footage as well as a variety of bonus features. Though Peacock will stream both versions of Dominion, Trevorrow in a recent interview described Jurassic World Dominion Extended Edition as the original version of the film, as opposed to a director's cut.

"We had finished film and we were in a scenario where we were asked to take out a good chunk of the movie, ultimately 14 minutes of the movie," he said. "So to have to go and try to figure out which of your darlings to kill, which can go. It really wasn't that I went back and did a director's cut, it's just that we have been honestly given a gift of being able to share the original film."

Dominion saw the return of original Jurassic Park stars to the franchise, including Laura Dern as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant and Jeff Goldblum as mathematician Ian Malcolm. According to star Chris Pratt, Jurassic World: Dominion is intended to mark the end of the franchise. "It's...30 years in the making, it's the sixth Jurassic film, it's the end of this franchise," he said. Dominion takes place four years after Fallen Kingdom, which saw the destruction of Isla Nublar, forcing humans and dinosaurs into an uneasy coexistence.

Jurassic World Dominion will be available to stream on Peacock starting on Sept. 2.
