Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm returns with the words "Here I am, talking about dinosaurs again" in a new behind-the-scenes video for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Arriving ahead of the trailer's release on Thursday, the featurette offers a glimpse into the production of the Universal Pictures sequel, as well as some previously released footage. The video also includes commentary from stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, along with director J. A. Bayona, writer Colin Trevorrow, and producers Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley.
Newly released plot details reveal that Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing and Chris Pratt's Owen Grady return to Isla Nublar to evacuate the remaining dinosaurs now at risk because of a reawakened volcano. It appears they may be "literally blowing up the island," as well, according to Pratt.
The film will also up the ante on the number of dinosaurs, as Crowley says, "in this Jurassic World, you will see more dinosaurs than you've ever seen before."
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been promoted with the tagline “Life Finds A Way,” a callback to a line of dialogue spoken by Goldblum’s characger in the original Jurassic Park. The first trailer is slated to debut on NBC during Thursday Night Football.
Directed by J.A. Bayona from a script by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, B.D. Wong, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, James Cromwell and Jeff Goldblum. The film arrives June 22, 2018.
