As Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park heads toward its 25th anniversary, a collection of fans have loving recreated the movie in a roughly 17-minute montage.

From the 1993's original movie, the dinosaurs have broken out of the confines of Jurassic Park and grown into one of the biggest sci-fi franchises in Hollywood. Now, as Universal Pictures prepares for its fifth movie with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it's time to head back to the island and remember what made the original one of the highest-grossing movies of all time.

In January, Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard posted a special video asking fans for their help in creating the project, and now Universal has unveiled the finished product. Hundreds of super-fans and wannabe filmmakers submitted their clips, which have been collected in one glorious video but the folks at Tongal.

Introduced by Fallen Kingdom director J.A. Bayona and screenwriter Colin Trevorrow, the video jumps quickly nto the action on Isla Nublar and 1993's opening sequence. While it isn't a shot-for-shot remake, it does include some of the movie's most iconic moments interspersed with clips from the actual Jurassic Park.

From "life, uh, finds a way" to "clever girl" and "hold onto your butts," all the best Jurassic Park quotes made the cut. There is claymation, puppetry, cosplay and animation to keep die-hard fans satisfied, and it all comes together in one wonderful homage — the inclusion of a fan-made Mr. D.N.A. is a particular highlight. Not only has the video come together in the fan film, Universal has been released individual submissions online via the Jurassic World social media sites.

The quality of the submissions varies, but there are top marks for imagination from those who entered their own ideas, let's also not underestimate the skill of recreating all of Jurassic Park in under 20 minutes. Heading back to the roots of the franchise, it seems that it wasn't just the filmmakers that were influenced by Jurassic Park. With their work on Fallen Kingdom, Bayona and Trevorrow both cite the 1993 classic as one of the reasons they both got into the movie business.

Wong, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin, James Cromwell and Jeff Goldblum. The film arrives June 22.
