There's no sign of Dr. Alan Grant or Ian Malcolm just yet, but their deadliest adversaries have both a return date and a new title to go along with it: Jurassic World.

Universal Pictures has announced the fourth film in the Jurassic Park franchise, now called Jurassic World, will arrive in theaters on June 12, 2015, adding yet another anticipated blockbuster to one of the most packed movie years in recent memory.

If you haven't been keeping track, 2015's planned major releases include The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the untitled Batman/Superman film, the 24th James Bond film, an Independence Day sequel, the return of Star Wars, and even more. Pirates of the Caribbean 5 just abandoned its 2015 release date; not an unwise move, given the competition.

Jurassic World will be helmed by Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow, based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will produce. The film will shoot in 3D.
