The Star Wars: The Clone Wars star continued, "No shame, Ryan Reynolds. I'm just kidding. I love Ryan Reynolds, he's fantastic. Would I be open to it? Yeah, sure, why not!"

Currently, HBO Max is developing a Green Lantern live-action series, which will feature Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story) in the role of Guy Gardner. A casting search is still underway for Green Lantern Alan Scott. In the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Jupiter's Legacy, Lanter stars as Skyfox, one of the six founding members of the Union. He's a playboy-like character who revels in his playful misdeeds. However, he carries an emptiness inside him that grows, eventually turning him into Sheldon Sampson’s greatest enemy. The first season of the show gives fans a look into his origin story, prior to his becoming one of the world's greatest supervillains.

The official series description for Jupiter's Legacy reads,

After nearly a century of keeping mankind safe, the world's first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy. But tensions rise as the young superheroes, hungry to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents' legendary public reputations -- and exacting personal standards. Based on the graphic novels by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, Jupiter's Legacy is an epic superhero drama that spans decades and navigates the complex dynamics of family, power, and loyalty.

Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy stars Josh Duhamel as The Utopian, Ben Daniels as Brain-Wave, Leslie Bibb as Lady Liberty, Elena Kampouris as Chloe Sampson, Andrew Horton as Brandon Sampson, Mike Wade as The Flare, Anna Akana as Raikou and Matt Lanter as Skyfox. The series premieres May 7 on Netflix.
