Filming on Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy adaptation is underway in Toronto, Canada. New photos from set, which surfaced online yesterday, offer a glimpse at Josh Duhamel's Utopian -- and it looks like he stepped right out of the comics.In the photos, Utopian wears his iconic white costume with its red and gold chest emblem. He boasts shoulder-length white hair, which is reminiscent of his comic book counterpart. According to the official character description,

Sheldon Sampson (The Utopian) is the storied leader of the superhero team The Union. But times have changed, and he doesn’t understand the world we live in anymore. Or his own family.

The Netflix original series is based on the 2013 comic book by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely. Jupiter's Legacy follows the offspring of the first generation of heroes that saved the world and their children, who are now spoiled pseudo-celebrities with no responsibilities. When one of the first generation heroes decides to take over the world, the kids rise up to stop him.

Two prequel series, titled Jupiter's Circle, were released by Millar and Wilfredo Torres. The direct sequel, Jupiter's Legacy 2, debuted in 2016, featuring art by Quitely, Peter Doherty and Rob Miller.
