Although details about Netflix's television adaptation of Image Comic's bestselling series Jupiter's Legacy are still under wraps, actor Anna Akana shared a clue regarding her upcoming role in the series and her character's stellar sense of style.

Even though Akana couldn't discuss specific details about the series, she shared some insight into how the show's Raikou compares to her depiction in the comic books, written by creators Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, while bragging about her costume.

In an exclusive interview with CBR, Akana shared, "I read the comic books after I booked the role and I'm very grateful I hadn't read it beforehand...I probably would've whiffed the audition because I love it, it's so cool." She also shared that while Raikou is "true to the comic books, she's got a slightly bigger role in the Netflix show" and is "more prominent... emotionally than in the comic books."

"I don't think I'll get in trouble for saying this," Akana added, "but her costume is the best out of all of theirs. The wardrobe and art department agree. I'm just really excited. She's such a badass, and she's got a lot more emotional runway to work with with the live-action version."

No release date has currently been announced for the series, although principal photography reportedly wrapped this past January in Toronto, with post-production underway. Millar confirmed this year that he began writing Jupiter's Requiem, the third installment in the franchise that's set after the prequel Jupiter's Circle. The series will reportedly take place in the future and run for ten issues.

Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy stars Josh Duhamel as The Utopian, Ben Daniels as Brain-Wave, Leslie Bibb as Lady Liberty, Elena Kampouris as Chloe Sampson, Andrew Horton as Brandon Sampson, Mike Wade as The Flare, Anna Akana as Raikou and Matt Lanter as Skyfox. The series has yet to receive a release date.
