Producer Peter Billingsley talked to Superhero Hype in very vague terms. "Nothing has really been decided yet, but I'll tell you that there's just such a wealth of great stories. We tease The Ten Rings in the first one for all the comic book fans, so there MIGHT be something there. There's so much to take advantage of, but the most exciting part is that, always, when he's in the suit it's going to be great, because you've got the technology to do it and with Robert and this cast there's so much we can do when he's not in the suit. So I think exploring Tony Stark, his father and sort of more of the dark side of Tony, it's a great opportunity."
According to MTV, actor Matthew Marsden has joined the cast as "Graham," a character who is part of the British Special Forces. Although the film's plot is being kept under the tightest veils of secrecy, it is known that the flick will depict an even more worldly battle than the first "Transformers" film, and will shoot all over the globe.
