Jump Force Welcomes Bleach's Toshiro Hitsugaya to the Fight

It looks like Jump Force isn't done adding characters just yet. On Thursday, another new character slated to arrive through DLC later this year was announced.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America released a new trailer on its YouTube channel revealing the latest addition to the game's roster: Toshiro Hitsugaya from Bleach. The thirty second video shows Hitsugaya fighting fellow Bleach character Renji Abarai, who was included in the game's original roster.

While anime fans are familiar with Hitsugaya's Bankai Hyorinmaru, those who haven't read the manga's Thousand Year Blood War arc may be surprised to see the Tenth Squad's Captain as an adult towards the end of the trailer. When Hyorinmaru's flower crystals are completely gone, Hitsugaya's bankai is fully matured which includes aging its user up, however, the trailer leaves how this transformation will be done in the game as a mystery.

While there is no exact date for his release, Bandai Namco Entertainment states that Toshiro Hitsugaya will be available for download in late 2019.
