Jumanji: The Next Level star Kevin Hart reportedly sustained a major injury in a car crash on Sunday morning.

According to TMZ, Hart was travelling with two other people down Mulholland Highway in his Plymouth Barracuda when the car went off the road. The roof of the vehicle "was completely crushed by the impact," according to that outlet. Hart was not the vehicle's driver at the time, and alcohol was not said to be a factor.

Hart and the driver sustained what police described as "major back injuries." A witness says that, after exiting the vehicle, Hart was picked up by "a member of his security team" and "eventually treated as a hospital."

The third person involved in the crash did not require treatment at hospital.

In addition to his role in the new Jumanji films, the actor/comedian is known for Paper SoldiersScary Movie 3 and several other films. Hart recently appeared in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw alongside his Jumanji co-star Dwayne Johnson.
