In case you can't smell what The Rock is cookin' this holiday season, he and Jumanji: The Next Level costar (and frequent collaborator) Kevin Hart are cooking up smiles for some lucky moviegoers. Clad in Santa and Elf attire, respectively, Hart and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson surprised guests seeing their latest film with snacks, gifts and their presence. Two days before Christmas, Cinemark Theatres posted a video to on Twitter account of the two celebrities arriving at one of its theaters (location unspecified) to greet fans there to see the newest installment in the Jumanji series. After a brief introduction that included Johnson hugging a sobbing fan, the two actors announced that all in attendance would receive free Jumanji merchandise, concessions, a year's worth of movies with Cinemark and one PlayStation 4 per family.

Nearing the end of the film's promotional tour, and apparently already having recently surprised another theater audience, Johnson (called "DJ" by his co-conspirator) told the crowd of his and Hart's desire to "find another theater and let's take it to the next level." They didn't depart without making sure to thank the fans, thank Cinemark and wish all families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

The Rock has paid homage to the event on his Twitter page with several retweets, as well as his own comments. Johnson made sure to point out that included in the gift package was "the coolest, and most unbelievable gift of all... free Jumanji fanny packs." This might've been a thin reference to his iconic turtleneck/fanny pack photo from his younger days, one that he recreated in 2017.

Now in theaters nationwide, director Jake Kasdan's Jumanji: The Next Level stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Rory McCann, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman and Morgan Turner.
