Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore may play the villain in 20th Century Fox's "Kingsman" sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Moore is said to currently be in talks for the film, but her busy schedule may prevent an obstacle.

No further details are known of Moore's potential character -- the Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons comic book series the original was based on, "The Secret Service," has not had a sequel, making the film more of an open canvas. The original defied box office expectations and made $414.4 million worldwide, from a $81 million production budget.

Moore has genre franchise experience, having played President Alma Coin in the last two "Hunger Games" films. Last year, she won an Academy Award and Golden Globe for her role in "Still Alice," portraying a woman with early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

Matthew Vaughn is on board to return as director for Fox's "Kingsman" sequel, with Taron Egerton back to star. The film is scheduled to shoot this summer.
